A dated list of what was added, what was rebuilt, and why. Only entries about this site.
Both systems are shown side by side, instead of one of them
Most name calculators show a single number and do not say which letter table produced it. That is why two sites can give you two different answers for the same company name and neither looks wrong. This calculator shows the Chaldean result and the Pythagorean result together, says which is which, and explains the disagreement when there is one. Chaldean is the default, because that is the table used in Indian practice — but it is a default, not a verdict.
Company names stay on your device, and the site sets no cookie for reading it
The name of a company that has not been registered yet is commercial information, so the calculation was built to run entirely in your browser: no request is made, nothing is written to our logs, and the name never appears in the page address. While building this we also found that the site was handing every visitor a session cookie on every page, which it did not need. It now sets one only at the moment you send the contact form. Reading the calculator, the letter tables or the number pages sets nothing at all.
The calculator now suggests spellings that land on other numbers
Knowing that a name comes to 8 is only half of what people came for: the name is usually still changeable at that point. So the tool now searches respellings of the same name — a lengthened vowel, a doubled consonant, a trailing h, the swaps that do not change how it sounds — and groups them by the number they produce. Rajesh gives 8; Raajesh gives 9; Rajeshh gives the master number 22. Up to 1,200 spellings are checked, and all of it happens in your browser.
Try it on your own name
Both systems at once, and the spellings that land on other numbers.
Nothing you type leaves your browser.

Only letters and spaces count. Digits and punctuation are ignored — we will say so when that happens.
Both systems agree here: 11.
That happens, and it is not a stronger result — just the same total twice.
Spellings that give a different number

⚠️ A different number is a different number — not a better one. Nothing here predicts how a
business will do. Check any spelling against the MCA register before you file it.
